Welcome to the overview of MailBurst, formerly known as DC&R Util 5
MailBurst is an essential add-on package for MacOS mail servers
running EIMS (The
Eudora Internet Mail Server), formerly AIMS (The Apple Internet Mail Server).
Version 2.0.1 of MailBurst also supports
EIMS 2.0.

Here are a few of the new features in version 2.0.1
- A graphical user interface (all dialogs fit on a 9" screen)
- Auto reply addresses with support for custom From, Reply-To, and Subject
headers
- Wild card forwarding *@domain1.com to *@domain2.com (mail
sent to david@domain1.com and ben@domain1.com are forwarded to david@domain2.com
and ben@domain2.com respectively)
- automatic reloading of the config file (for users who edit their own
config files)
- Facilities to Bounce and Trash incoming mail to certain
addresses
- Save messages to disk
- Built-in test command to see what happens if mail is received for a
particular address
- A Drop-box folder for creating messages with CGIs and other software
- Ability to reject a message if the size is greater than a specific
amount (set for each incoming address)
- Easily handles thousands of addresses and domains
(5,000
addresses in a 4Mb partition)
- Lightning performance
- A simple text-based config file for users who wish to generate their configurations automatically using scripts or CGIs
